Year 5 Students: 2 Classes a week each 2hrs.

1st Stage Exam - [Selective Eligibility Tests]
2nd Stage Exams - [Essay, Comprehension, Longer Maths Questions]
English: Essay Writing~(Non-Fiction/Fiction/Letter Writing/Persuasive Writing)
- Answering comprehension to examiner requirements - mreging points, evidence and quotations.
- A Reading and vocabulary program.
Maths: Syllabus comprises of over 20 topics !

Why A Group Dynamic Is Better Than 1 To 1 Classes.
- Most children are competitive. The friendly rivalry in a group setting spurs students to reach new academic heights impossible otherwise. Homeworks are often done to impress their peers.
- A happy group environment is conducive to learning. When a child sees others concentrating and working hard, they too fall in line.
- The work of higher ability students allows others to see first hand what level they need to aspire to.
- Students taught 1 to 1 can more easily become slack over the year. Some begin to take for granted the expensive tutoring purchased for them by their parents.
How we deal with students who start mid course.
Our course runs from Sept.'16 to Sept.'17. Those students who come in after the course has begun or those students that have been away for a few weeks holiday during the course, will receive special attention.
These students will be tutored 1 to 1 by a Tutor assistant in order to assist them to catch up and be comfortable with the rest of the group. Only then will they be added to the group.
In this way neither the progress of the group or the child is hindered. This attentive approach is a unique feature of our Tuition Centre.
